Filler is hyaluronic acid gel that is used to restore age related volume loss in the face as well as enhance natural facial features. Areas most commonly treated with filler are cheeks, chin, jawline, and lips.

The number of syringes needed will be based on your aesthetic goals and the treatment plan we create during your consultation. Below you will find general guidance on number of syringes needed based on the treatment area.

The cost of dermal filler depends on the product used and the area being treated. Our prices range from $700-850.

One week prior: avoid blood thinning OTC medications such as aspirin, motrin, ibuprofen, and aleve
2 days prior: avoid topical products such as Treinoin (Retin-A), Retinol, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, or any “active” ingredient products. Start taking Arnica.
24 hours prior to: avoid any drinking any alcohol or smoking
General recommendations: if you have previously suffered from cold sores, there is a risk that the procedure could contribute to causing a cold sore flare. Please let your provider know and an oral antiviral prescription can be called in for you.
Day of: arrive with a clean face!

You can apply ice to the treated area to help reduce swelling. You can apply topical arnica to aid in bruising reduction. Take tylenol to reduce discomfort as needed. Avoid touching the treated area.

Swelling is typically unavoidable, but here are some tips to help minimize swelling: antihistamines during the day such as Zyrtec or Claritin, and Benadryl at night. Avoid tanning, saunas, hot tubs, or any other activity that would increase your heart rate and body temperature.
Bruising is typically unavoidable. To minimize risk, avoid drinking alcohol or taking any NSAIDS prior to your treatment. You can take Arnica, eat fresh pineapple, and apply ice to the affected areas.

Filler treatments should be planned a minimum of 4 weeks in advance of any special occasions. You can anticipate bruising and mild swelling after your treatment that will gradually resolve in the following week.
There is no clinical downtime, but a social downtime should be considered and will vary among patients.

The appointment length is dependent on the area being treated and how many syringes are being used. Generally, filler appointments last between 1 to 2 hours.

The longevity of your filler will vary based on the area that it is in. Most fillers last at least 8 months and many last up to a year or longer!

Contact your provider if you experience any of the following: fever, chills, discoloration to the area treated or any surrounding areas, the area becomes red or hot to the touch, severe or increasing pain, or blanching of the skin.
